Daicon Day 2: Conterversy and Indirect Kiss

The second day, was as the first, quite boring. WIth only the Minorin concert to look forward to, I was quite disappointed. I mean during CF, I could walk around, and have fun, not only looking at the booths, but also listening to the awesome emcee that keeping us entertained the whole time. Here? Meh….

Thankfully latching oneself to ***** Valho of TFM can lead to some interesting result, especially when he started to book cosplayers for personal photoshoot. It was an awesome experience, walking around with others that have the same passion. E-Jump, Quazacolt, Aoshi, KC Lee, Steno, kinda fun taking pictures with them.

Because of the Cosfest that was held in down south, the entry for cosplayers were a tad lacking. And thus, they even canceled the group cosplay competition . It does not help that the quality for the Karaoke finals are still as bad as fromt he first day, thus I end up walking around aimlessly following e-jump.

As stated above, the second day has some controversy surrounding it. First, due to the cancellation of the group cosplay competition, the Minorin concert was changed from 5pm to 3pm. And thus nearing the start of the concert, somehow, someone had the great idea of shutting down the hall, and turning all the lights out.

Now imagine if you were a booth owner, and you are selling something. Can’t see shit now can you? Thus many booth owners raaged at the event manager. Not helping much was that due to all the confusion, the people jamming up to watch the concert and also everything else, it cannot be resolved in time.

And did I mention, due to the fucked up nature of Malaysians, the iron grill that was supposedly used to separate the concert area was substituted with a high blue wall of partitions? Many were quite pissed indeed.

The second incident was when Setsuna, with egging from me and some other friends decided to snitch the water bottle that Minorin had drank from when she sang in the concert. The incident found it way to the net via someone not thinking with their head and submitting it SanCom (which was ironic, that I am also a writer there). Jealousy starts to reign, and hatred clouded their mind. They can’t take it that someone had taken a drink from the same bottle as their favourite idol.

Flaming started to be thrown around, and somehow, it was fun to read these bitchy moralist fags fought over what was a simple issue. Faggots. Just because you didn’t think of doing it first does not mean someone else who did was wrong. Suck for you then.

What he did for me was not unusual, especially after talking to some people in Japan. Most of incidents like this are only considered “extreme” here where there are so many weeboes that think they KNOW how the system works in Japan when they never even set foot there, saying that they are an otaku without even knowing what the real meaning is, etc.

For one, I do not condone what he did, but only the part where he posted himself in the blog. Other than that, it’s a free country. Doing something like taking water bottle, towels, or even discarded clothes are things that are expected by management. Compared to say like openly wanting to stalk a person *cough*Hirano Aya*cough*, management usually turns a blind eye over something like this as it’s a measure of an artist’s popularity.

Fans of Hello Project and also in general Morning Musume has been proven to do more extreme shits. But that does not stop them from going round the country doing show. It’s their job. they have signed up for this. They already know the drill.

Considering that I was the person that egged him on taking the water bottle in the first place, was I ashamed? Hell no. It’s a one chance in a lifetime, if he wanted to do it, why not? Rather than going home and regret it the rest of your life, why not do it there and then? Even Kurogane took the water bottle of a certain other blogger that I have no idea existed until he told me, and yet no moral fags are at his ass, bitching about it.

Oh well, to each person his own…

OH well, I had some fun. But I expected more. A 2 hour fail drive around the KLIA after that did not help either as I missed the F1 German Grand Prix. Not to mention I had to pay for fuel.

Oh forgot to mention, someone brought the Decade-Driver. AWESOME!
