Bakemonogatari Web Episode Delayed

Fans of popular stationary anime Bakemonogatari will surely be dissapointed after the official TV website of the series has announced that it had delayed the airing of the web episode “Tsubasa Cat part 3″ from October 28th, to November 2nd instead.

Eccentric director Akiyuki Shinbo has planned a 15 episode anime adaptation of Nisio Isin’s tounge in cheek novel, but due to the broadcasting schedule of either 12~13 episodes per season, decided to release the other three episode on the internet for free. It was said that the web episodes are now delayed due to production schedule.

The original anime has finished it’s run of 12 episodes last September, and judging from the highly successful Blu-ray and DVD sales, totalling around the 56K region (only Gundam fares better), the web episodes is surely being anticipated. How much of a reaction from this delay by the hardcore fans is yet remain to be seen
