Love Plus Nearly Caused Divorce

Konami’s dating simulator for the Nintendo DS, the highly lauded real time Love Plus was seem as some in Japan as a substitute for a real girl by those that have a hard time getting a real life girl, but it’s now surfaced that not only lonely, relationly inept otaku that played this, but married men as well. And one man was lucky to have his marriage saved after his wife found out of his “affair” with the game

The husband, who’s DS was in his camera bag mistakenly left it out one day, and it was found by his wife when she was cleaning it due to the game’s nature of following the real time of the DS’s internal clock.

The enraged and somewhat bemused wife then demanded an explanation by her husband, and after hearing the quite explicit ways, feels like her husband had a lover behind her back and promptly confiscated the DS.
