This conspicious looking coloured liquid is not, as most expected, a Lucky Star based body wash, but instead, it’s an engine oil, dubbed “Itayu”.
The name comes from “Ita” of Itasha (and also pain) and “yu” which means oil. The oil is created to cater for the Itasha car craze in Japan by otaku who are pimping up their rides with characters from their favourite animes. What set these oil apart are that they also comes in a variety of scents like peach and apple-mint. How does that effect the car’s performance is arguable, but a little smell could go a long way in an Itasha competition.
