Problematic studio Gonzo, once famous for animes such as Martian Sucessor Nadeshico(yes, I know, but my sources get it wrong, and I am not otaku enough to know. SHEESH!), Kiddy Grade, and Gate Keepers are now slowly but surely is shutting down it’s operation. Their latest act is to terminate telephone customer support for their DVD release starting next month. Although patrons could still go to their site and email a complain online, it’s another nail in the coffin of this once glorious studio
To make matters worse for them, the Range Murata collaboration series, Shang Ri-la turned out to be an awesome flop, and they have decided not to continue DVD release for the series starting at single 7 onwards, thus saving on royalties paid to Murata for the artwork he does on the DVD covers.

Wait, Martian Successor Nadesico is from Xebec, not Gonzo.

but it’s just the studio, that certain business man’s

I hope someone will make Strike Witches II, somehow…

Hmm perhaps Martian looks too much like Vandread?
Gonzo deserve to go down. Wif all the crap series / movies they churn out since Gankutsuou. Vandread & Last Exile are their best to date.
