Singapore, are You Ready for the Invasyhun?

Unless you’ve been ignorant/comatose/cut off from the world/don’t really care, you’ve realised that this will be the final week before the upcoming Anime Festival Asia in Singapore.

So yeah, basically if you have the dough, and the time, and not wasting hours working to save monies for comicket, go down South to check it out. The organisers have lined up many awesome stuff to make this one of the best experience for an anime fest outside of Japon.

Some of the most prominent figures in the business is also making their way there, like the cat eating, cosplay loving idol, Shoko-tan, Tokusatsu singer legend Ichiro Mizuki, not to mention two of the most famous singer in Macross history which never voiced their anime counterpart, May’n and also Fukuyama “Aniki” Yoshiki. Also if you’re a fan of a certain green haired personification of a software which can be programmed to sing but never have the time to tinker with it to create your own song, Hatsune Miku will have her first “live” (?) concert outside of Japan!

On the other hand for those that were hooked by a certain moeblob anime series that features girls with highly expensive musical instruments rocking their way through high school, guess what? The main seiyuus for K-On! has also been confirmed to make an appearance! Pity I am not going, as I would love to know how the songwriters created Fuwa Fuwa time when the chords for the bass looks really impossible to play on a 4 stringed Fender Jazz Bass. :(

Other than that, major toy manufacturer Bandai is also there, so make sure you have a LOT of change as it would mean surely there will be the awesome wall of Gashapons.

3D lovers would want to check out the regional cosplay championship (pics plzzz!) and also the Moe Moe Kyun Meido Cafe (ME-I-DOH!).

Anyways, have fun! I will be waiting for my UCC Evangelion Coffee to arrive this Monday tho.
