Bakemonogatari prequel, Kizumonogatari will be animated as announced in the just released novel Nekomonogatari
The studio of choice is still SHAFT, thus making sure that it will still have that weird Shinbo style that Bakemonogatari is famous for, while Aniplex will produce it. NisiOisin and Kodansha will oversee the project.
Kizumonogatari will tell the story of the Golden Week, during when Araragi Koyomi’s first encounters the vampire Shinobu, and also Hanekawa’s first possession by the Bakeneko
