We would like to express our condolence to the death of Datuk Temenggong Kanang anak Langkau who died yesterday. Kanang was former Ranger in the Malaysian Army and had fought the communist. He will always be regarded as a national hero, and someone that I always looked up to.

The latest Rebuild of Evangelion movie has exceeded expectation, even with lower than expected reviews from viewers. As of today, 4 days after the initial airing (17th of November 2012), a total of 1 Million viewers have watched the movies in cinema, raking in around 1.5 Billion yen in sales.
With such a strong showing it might no be long that it will grace the cinemas of other countries as well

During Anime Festival Asia 2012, I was invited by the organiser as well as Production IG for a preview screening of Kamiyama Kenji’s latest full length animation film, RE: Cyborg009. If you felt that the title is familiar, this is because it’s a remake of an old Ishinomori Shotaro’s (of Kamen Rider fame) manga title.
