The much anticipated “Disappearence” arc movie of Suzumiya Haruhi that is set for next year has been given quite a substantial boost when it was announced that the movie will be around 150 minutes long.

Yamakan’s outburst was quite interesting, to say the least. I never expected him to have a say in a series that he should really have nothing to do with after he was fired
Among other things was that the rumours of Kadokawa Shoten originally forcing KyoAni to animate this to save cost. To their credit, KyoAni refused to recycle their old animation and created a new one for each loop. You still remember the Endless Eight fiasco right? Well Yamakan (above), the famous director that created the annoying Haruhi dance that you see all over ACG events around the world, and not to mention the father of Lucky Star before he was “fired” from KyoAni spoke about it earlier this week
Now see why I put “fired” inside of the bracket? He now claims that he voluntarily quit instead. Never mind that. What he is saying is that he was sorry for this whole fiasco as he was also part of the Haruhi season 2 team before the was fired/quit/cannot make up his mind, and can do nothing to stop it.
