Oh Malaysiaku…

What a veil does to my countryman

What a veil does to my countryman

It all started with this thread. Integra posted about the blog that reported that Aya was in Malaysia. Seems harmless at first. But the moment it catches the eye of every otaku in Malaysia, it went out of hand. When I got to know of the link, my first reaction when reading it was “WTF? LOLOLOL”, then to “Are these guys serious?” to “Oh Shi-!”. For me, even tho many said they were just trolling and shit, I honestly BELIEVE that many of teh posters would really DO what they said in that thread. And that kind of obsessiveness scared me. I was scared of that thread. Za moment I saw they used Google Earth to calculate Aya’s hotel, I know that they already in fantasyland, and nothing can stop them.

Remember the awesome google map that has all teh anime places bookmarked on it? Well loading it in google earth, you can use the “google street” feature to have a closer look on the place. And guess what? The google map bookmark was accurate up to a few hundred feet, as I tested with finding Suzumiya Haruhi and Kyon’s North High aka Nishinomiya Kita High School in real life

Google Chrome Beta: First Look

Google Chrome BETA

Google Chrome BETA

Google has just released their new beta browser. The browser, named chrome is an open source one and according to google “incorporates everything good of every other browser”.

First look
1 – Installer
Massive fail. I hate installer that does not install the software, but instead download it THEN install. I mean look at FF, Opera and IE7’s installer. They are standalone, meaning that even if the PC is not connected to the internet, it can be installed
