If you’ve been lurking on the net, you should have known about the 30th Gundam Annivesary special by Sunrise, that is to recreatea a 1:1 sized Gundam based on the original RX-78 model. As you can see below, the work is near completion, and it IS fucking awesome.
But don’t expect it to walk around or anything. Most it can do is just move it’s head and hands. By physics law, the design of the Gundam is not really stable, and the legs won’t be able to support the gigantic weight on the torso. But who cares right? It’s still fukken awesome.

2 weeks in the new year, how’s the new anime season stacked up? Not quite good IMO. Not many new animes catches my attention. From the bunch, I must say that only Maria + Holic (awesome trap x lesbo jokes
), White Album (epic romance?) and Rideback (Mature mecha FTW) catches my attention. Some like Akikan turns out to be a failure less than 3 episodes in. Sword of Uruk is quite normal to say the least.
Most epic failure was the latest of of Gundam 00 season 2. WHY MUST SUNRISE HAVE AN OP WHERE ALL THE CHARACTER ARE NAKED? To top it off, the longest scene was the one with Tiera Erde. GAHH!! MAH EYESS!!! D: Read moar...
