This week I had the chance to cover two events, the Hotlink Games and Anime Festival, at Berjaya Time Square, and also the ACGC, at Tropicana Mall. While both ran throughout the weekends, the Hotlink sponsored one started on Thursday. Considering that BTS was quite near to my office, I decided to go there on Thursday and Friday, and ACGC for the weekends.

There was some conterversy with the Hotlink event initially. While ACGC was announced for quite some time, Hotlink decided to wait until a week before the actual event before announcing their date which lead to some complaints. While Hotlink usually ALWAYS do their event on the same date with another, ongoing one, this time, it looks like they are trying to do a one up on ACGC, with better prizes for their cosplay contest.
