If anything, ep 05 of Bakemonogatari really shows why the series is highly rated by fans this season. The last episode of Mayoi Maimai’s arc, this episode really does shows the beauty of Shinbo’s work and Nisio Isin’s storyline.

Bakemonogatari, Shinbo Total Mindfuck

There are two anime series that I would watch. One, animes done by KyoAni. And another, is animes that is directed by Shaft’s Shinbo. You see, Shinbo, or his real name, Akiyuki Shinbo is famous for his animes. His style is what you can categorise as the ultimate random of all randomness, making him a genius, or just a person really really really high on something when he was making his animus. Pani Poni Dash, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei, Maria Holic, those are just some of the animes that he has done, and this season, there is another series added to his repertoire.

Production studio Shaft was recently announced as the studio that would produce the anime adaptation of the manga Natsu no Arashi, according to it’s official website. Also listed was the full staff and cast for the series.

This is Kobayashi Jin’s second work following ‘School Rumble’ altho it does not have the same humour gag as with it’s predecessor. The series focused mostly of the life of 13 year old Yasaka, and his life during a summer at his grandfather’s where he met with the mysterious girl, Arashi.
