The once prolific but now problematic studio Gonzo is now all and certainly dead, with the latest news that the upcoming sequel to the mizugi wearing kemonomimi totting series, Strike Witches’s production has been changed to AIC, according to the fourth issue of Nyantype.

Pantsu overladed anime Strike Witches is set to have it’s own game, and what else for a military styled series but with a shooter. It’s also confirmed that the platform of choice would be the Otaku laden console, Xbox 360.
The news was announced at a recent Strike Witches special event.
Seems that the economic crisis does not spare even the Japanese studio. As reported by ANN
GDH, the corporate parent of the Gonzo anime company, has announced that it will be restructuring, and therefore reducing its annual output of anime from about eight projects to four in the next fiscal year. The decision was made during the board of directors’ meeting that was held on Monday. The company currently produces anime through its four internal studios and outsourcing to other companies. It plans to combine its internal studios under one division and “carefully” winnow its output from eight to four titles. Read moar...
