Mamoru Oshii Release New Trailer for Live Action Flick

A new trailer was released for Mamoru Oshii’s live action flick, “Assault Girl”. Set in a post-apocalyptic barren world where desert dunes makes the majority of the continents, it focuses on three female warriors, all whom are equipped with large, and powerful, assault weapons. The girls must battle the “Suna Kujira”, literally the “sand whales” to stay alive.

Disappearence of Suzumiya Haruhi Movie Announced

After the debacle that was Endless 8, Kadokawa Shoten finally announced that the much awaited moe infested arc of Suzumiya Haruhi (which includes an extremely more boring and monotone Meganekko Nagato Yuki and a longer haired and more tsundere Suzumiya Haruhi), “Dissapearance” aka Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu will be made into a movie instead.

Sora no Oto Trailer Streamed

TV Tokyo’s new anime department first joint project, Sora no Oto (ソ。ラ。ノ。ヲ。ト, So.Ra.No.Wo.To) or “Sounds of the Skies” is proceeding as planned, with a trailer shown on it’s site

The anime series, which will premier this January, is a collaboration of the TV Studio with famed animation studio Aniplex. Dubbed as “Anime no Chikara” (The Strength of Animation), both companies plans to create new, original anime television series with the help of established names in the industry.

Funimation has released the trailer for the English dubbed American edition of the first of the Rebuild of Evangelion movies, “You are (Not) Alone”, the second of which recently hit Japanese theaters.
